Areas of Research

The major research areas of the NRW School of Governance comprise the research activities by Prof. Dr. Karl-Rudolf Korte and his chair “The political system of Germany and modern theories of the state, the chair for “Politics in Nordrhein-Westfalen” (Univ. – Prof. Dr. Andreas Blätte ) and the chair for “Ethics in Political Management and Society” (Univ. -Prof. Dr. Christoph Bieber ).

The NRW School of Governance connects researchers with a focus on government research, and thereby extends the research beyond the Department of Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
